The Spanish PARADOX: the Spainistani REALITY

The Spanish paradox - from this Blog's perspective, the Spainistani reality - is that of a country that is shocked, gets passionate, suffers, enjoys with the victory of the Spanish Soccer National Team - from this Blog's perspective, the Spainistan Homo Soccer-Sapiens National Team - whilst at the same time is able to forget matters of enormous importance for their inhabitants.

First, the National Team players have won as extra bonus for being the Eurocup's Champions, more than 300.000 Euros each. Would you guess where this money will be taxed?: actually NOT in Spainistan, BUT in Ucraine and Poland, as a financial strategy to reduce the taxes, as they already did in Viena in 2008. Isn't this amazing?: these are the "heroes" that today and during the next weeks and years the Spainistanis will be adoring. The initiative in www.change.org to donate these bonuses to social needs seems not being very successful so far...

Second, did you realise about who was invited in the VIP tribune, who's not losing any opportunity to go?. Well, together, with Felipito, "the Little Prince", son of our elephant-killer king, Mr. Rajoy was there. This person is not only sassy/cheeky enough to go paid by the Spainistanis, but he does so at the same time that Spainistan is LITERALLY BURNING; the most serious fires in the last 20 years are right now massacrating the Comunidad Valenciana; this is taking place whilst several newspapers published that the PP Government CUT in 15 milion Euros and more than 200 employees the resources allocated for... FIRE PREVENTION!. And all of this whilst public events so important as the Formula 1 in Valencia City are still being payed (hundreds of milions of dollars) by this same government... PURE SPAINISTAN!.

Third, in parallel to the party that Felipito, "the Little Prince" and Mr. Cut-Rajoy are having, half of Spainistan is at war due to the recent measure adopted by the government, forcing even the pensioners to co-pay and re-pay drugs and even some basic health assistance. It goes without saying that these persons already paid for this, as they were taxed during the whole life for it. Today, tomorrow, this and the nex month, the Spainistanies will also forget that the direct re-capitalization of the spanish banking system, presented as a big success by our government, will not bring but more cut and dismantlement of the Social Welfare State. You only need to take a look to this video to understand till which point the people is pissed off with the banks…

We could just continue with the fourth, the fifth, the sixth... New and systematic tax increases are announced, including electricity, gas, VAT and, WARNING!, taxes so far with the hyper-reduced 4% will increase to the 18% in few days time!.

We don't want to spoil anybody's party or enjoyment. We just would like to say that this financial and values' crisis in Spainistan is serious ill enough as for this year not giving so much importance to a group of soccer-players, politicians and bankers that are not only destroying this country, but also enjoying by doing and laughing at those most vulnerable.

The celebration of the goal and of the bailout that doesn’t exist

See Mr. Rajoy's picture celebrating the Spain's goal one day after the intervention. These days I’ve had the Blog abandoned, I’ve been around in Paris, London and Hamburg. Honestly, I came back depressed to see how Europe is making fun at us. From the Puppets of Canal+ in France (Gignoles), to the front-pages of German newspapers, fun is always going the same direction: Mr. Rajoy and his little servant Guindos (the Minister of Economy) deny speaking of “bailout” after the 100.000 milion Euros injection done past Saturday. Actually, exactly the same that happened to Mr. Zapatero, former President of Spainistán, with the word “crisis” when it was starting and he systematically rejected it; amazing!.

At the same time, we have the Dívar scandal; the President of the CGPJ, the main Judiciary Power institution, has for the last 4 years been traveling to the South of Spain to the most luxury hotels, 31 times, with an estimated cost of 70.000+ Euros. He’s been unable to justify the expenses. At the same time that he was arguing that the cost was not so high “as the hotels were only 4 stars”, a 80 y.o. lady has had to pay more than 400 Euros of the taxi she had to use in order to give witness in Madrid of the killing of her husband by the fascist Franco regime during the Spanish Civil War…

Yet, in Spainistan everybody swallows this shit up!. Why?, very easy!, because the Spanistan Football (Soccer) team, “La Roja”, “The Reds”, is playing the Eurocup!. This is the most important right now, together with Nadal in Tennis or Fernando Alonso for F1.

Spainistán is a de facto intervened State. It is governed by an ultra-liberal right party, with a provincial mindset, that doesn’t speak languages and doesn’t have any weight in Europ; a State that cuts drastically on Health, Education and Pensions whilst at the same time gives dozens of thousands of millions of Euros to banks managed and bankrupted by themselves… But Spainistanies vote them.

Panem et Circenses. Spainistán has what it deserves. This country is not worth, Europe does not merits this load. See Mr. Rajoy's picture celebrating the Spain's goal one day after the intervention. Better Greece than Spainistán!.

The Politian, the Soccer Player, the Monarchy and the Corrupted

… the good and incredible thing in Spainistan is that you can find all of them in or around just one and the same person!. The guy in the picture is called Fernando Roig. He is the President of the Villareal Futbol Club, a first Spanish Soccer League team that even played the Champions League recently.

This guy was yesterday cited at Valencia tribunals as a witness. He is a key witness in the Iñaqui de Urdangarín case. Iñaqui de Urdangarían is Duke of Palma and the son-in-law of Juan Carlos I, the KillerKing of Spain. As you may  probably know, Iñaqui is now impeached in Spain accused of several charges, among them embezzlement of founds and traffic of influences, together with fraud to the public Treasury in what is supposed to be millions of Euros.

Why is Fernando as key witness?. According to the information available, his enterprise, the Villareal Futbol Club, payed almost 700.000 Euros for a report of 12 pages done by the Instituto Noos, an enterprise of Iñaqui Urdangarin. Yes, yes, you read adequately: 700.000 Euros for a report of 12 pages… Apparently, this was common practice in Iñaqui’s institute, who was dedicated just to do bullshit for several people (among them, many Politians in Valencia, including the ex president Paco Camps and the mayor, Rita Barberá). Obviously what they were in fact buying was the “name” and the "reputation" of the Monarchy…

The surrealist, absurd, and Spanistan momentum came when Mr. Roig was inquired by the journalist after his declaration in the tribunals. This person answered, literally:

“I kindly ask you to respect my mourning day”, referring to what happened on Sunday, the day before, when Villareal lost his match and had to be descended to the Second Division of the Spanistan League, a drama for many people that seems to be more important than any other thing...

So, this is Spainistan: a country where people cries because their team is descended, without bothering by the fact that his “President” is clearly connected to a bunch of corrupted polititians who, in turn, are connected to a corrupted, old-fashion institution such as the Monarchy.

Somebody can offer something better?. Shame on Spanistan,
A hurt former Spaniard

This is one of the main Spainistan idols today, Cristiano Ronaldo. I must start by saying that we do not support Barcelona or Madrid teams, as we do strongly believe that this sport is just another form of social control mechanism for an idiotized society. This strong statement has its nounces, as we will see later on, but as a matter of principle, this is where we do start now.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a good example of what we want to express here. Born in 1985, today nobody knows what is his background, basically because he hasn’t got any. He started playing soccer and has been a successful sports man, but… that’s all. His father was an alcoholic; he’s been accused of sexual harassment; he bought the silence of the woman who has his own recognised children (the woman disappeared from the media after receiving an enormous amount of money), he has crashed different super-luxury cars in diverse car-accidents… But, in Spainistan, this guy is an idol, a model of conduct, an aspiration for milions of people; amazing, isn't it?
