Although Spain has a
“Ministry of Defense”, in Spainistan we rightly call it the “Minister of War”,
which is exactly his final aim and raison
d’etre. Five months ago, the Partido Popular took government in Spain; the
Government Cabinet was nominated soon and with no few surprises, that we will
also elaborate in future posts.
Probably
one of the most stricking surprises was the nomination of the Spainistani
Minister of War. His name is Pedro Morenés (see picture) and, what was our
surprise when we discovered that this
guy has been regularly linked to the production and selling of some of the most
socially controversial and rejected weapons existing!!!. We are talking
here serious business: nuclear weapons
and cluster bombs.
Mr. (Mr.?)
Morenés was the President of MBDA Spain. MBDA is a multinational enterprise
that builds ASMP-A missiles, nuclear-type missiles. Actually, MBDA is owned by
three of the enterprises that de facto
produce nuclear weapons: EADS, BAE
Systems and Finmeccanica. The last one is participated in a 2.01% by the Lybian Investment Authority (LIA) under
the former Gadafi Govnerment which, by the way, did very lucrative busniness
with this dictator.
In fact,
this is not the last link between the Minister of War Mr. Morenés and Gadafi:
to our surprise, Morenés was advisor to
Instalaza, a Spainistan company producing and selling cluster bombs just before it was forbidden by law. This company
sold bombs to Gadafi, and they were used against the civil population in Libia,
as shown by Human Rights Watch.
The
conclusion is straightforward: Spainistan has a Minister of War that directly
contributed to the production and selling of nuclear weapons and cluster bombs,
and that indirectly, yet with a strong cause-effect relationship, contributed
to the killing of civilians in Libya
via his friend Gadafi. Finally,
difficult to see how this monster will keep his impartiality and neutrality versus the Spainistani
Military-Industrial conglomerate...

El "explosivo" Ministro de Defensa de Spainistán
Este post se basa en un artículo del mismo título de Jordi Calvo
Aunque España tenga un “Ministro de Defensa”, en Spainistán
nosotros lo llamamos adecuadamente “Ministro de la Guerra”, que es exactamente
la finalidad y razón de ser de esta gente. Hace cinco meses, el Partido Popular
tomó el Gobierno de España; el Gabinete fue nombrado rápidamente y no sin algunas sorpresas que elaboraremos
en otros posts en este mismo Blog.
Probablemente una de las más chocantes fue la nominación del
Ministro de la Guerra de Spanistán. Su nombre es Pedro Morenés (ver la foto) y,
cuál fue nuestra sorpresa al descubrir que este tipo ha estado regularmente vinculada a la producción y venta de algunas de
las armas más controvertidas y socialmente rechazadas que existen. Estamos
hablando de temas realmente serios: armas
nucleares y bombas de racimo.
El Señor (Señor?) Morenés era el Presidente de MBDA España. MBDA
es una empresa multinacional que construye los misiles ASMP-A, de tipo nuclear.
De hecho, MBDA es propiedad de tres de las empresas que de hecho producen armas
nucleares: EADS, BAE Sistemas y Finmeccanica. Esta última está participada en un 2.01% por la Autoridad Libia de Inversión, cuando ésta
dependía del antiguo Gobierno de Gadafi que, por cierto, hizo negocios muy
lucrativas con el dictador por en medio…
De hecho, este no es el último vínculo entre el Ministro de
la Guerra, Sr. Morenés, y Gadafi: para nuestra sorpresa, Morenés era asesor de Instalaza, una compañía de
Spainistán que producía y vendía bombas
de racimo justo antes de que éstas fueran prohibidas por ley. Esta compañía
vendío bombas a Gadafi que fueron usadas contra la población civil de Libia,
como demostró Human Rights Watch.
La conclusión es
evidente: Spainistán tiene un Ministro de la Guerra que contribuyó directamente
a la producción y venta de armas nucleares y bombas de racimo y que,
indirectamente, si bien con una relación causa-efecto bastante fuerte,
contribuyó al asesinato de civiles en Libya a través de su amigo, Gadafi. Finalmente,
resulta difícil ver cómo este monstruo va a mantener su imparcialidad y
neutralidad frente al conglomerado Militar-Industrial de Spainistan…
